Ukraine to take legal action against Russia to return seized offshore deposits, - Poroshenko
President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko says it is important for Ukraine to appeal to court to take back its offshore fields, including Odeske and Bezimiane.
As reported by Censor.NET citing Interfax, Poroshenko said this, speaking to the students of Ivano-Frankivsk National Technical University of Oil and Gas on Wednesday."We have to restore the Ukrainian oil and gas industry... We have discussed [with the scientists - ed.] how important it is to return them now, to bring legal action [against Russia - ed.] and get our offshore fields back, including Odeske and Bezimiane," he said.
As reported, Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev signed a decree that could ban operators from using the fields in the Azov and Black Seas, which were given the right by Ukraine before the occupation of Crimea.
