Ukrainian Parliament extends moratorium on land sales until Jan. 1, 2017
The MPs have supported the bill No.3004 envisaging a one-year moratorium on the sale of agricultural land.

The bill amends the items 14 and 15 of Section X "Transitional Provisions" of the Land Code of Ukraine, which extends the moratorium on purchase, sale, and subtraction by other means of agricultural land and the vesting of the right for land plot (land share) in the registered capital of companies until Jan. 1, 2017. The items were valid through Jan. 1, 2016.
