Su-25 might collide with high-voltage power line, - Chief Military Prosecutor Matios
Ukraine's Air Force Su-25 military aircraft which crashed in the morning near Zaporizhia carried out a training flight at an extremely low altitude.
This was announced by Chief Military Prosecutor Anatolii Matios on his Facebook page, Censor.NET reports.
"An aircraft accident occurred today at 9:15 a.m. According to a version by Defense Ministry air crash investigation team working at the scene, carrying out a training flight at an extremely low altitude, the plane collided with a high-voltage power line and fell in the vicinity of Ternivka village (Zaporizhia region), close to 255 km of Kharkiv-Simferopol highway," Matios said.
According to him, the aircraft was not carrying any ammunition.
"The pilot was killed on spot. No destruction and other casualties have been reported," he added.
As previously reported, Ukraine's Air Force Su-25 military aircraft crashed during a scheduled training flight in the Zaporizhia region today, Nov. 11.
