Belorussian President Lukashenko orders dealing with Donbas militants 'immediately, with police and KGB'

Belorussian President Alexander Lukashenko has ordered the country's law enforcers to 'immediately' deal with militants who had fought in the east of Ukraine.

As reported by Censor.NET citing Interfax-Ukraine, this was announced by Belorussian media.

"Some of the so-called 'brave people,' who had fought in the Donbas, are posing for photos with weapons in Minsk. No posers, no militants should be in the country," Lukashenko said on Thursday at the border guarding meeting.

The president stressed that "everyone knows how those who had fought on either side in Ukraine are treated." He addressed those present at the meeting: "Deal with them immediately on spot with police and the KGB."

As reported, two Belorussian citizens have been detained due to suspicion of participation in the combat activities in Ukraine.

Earlier, Belarus' Interior Minister Igor Shunievich announced that dozens of criminal cases could be opened against Belorussians fighting in the Donbas.
