250 soldiers recruited to Crimea battalion, – coordinator of Crimea blockade Isliamov
The Crimea battalion, which will patrol checkpoints at the entrance to the occupied Crimea, has recruited about 250 people.
Initiator of the civil blockade of the Crimea Lenur Isliamov announced on Channel 112 Ukraine, Censor.NET reports."The format of the battalion is confirmed. We are forming it. Lists are being made. People come and join it from all over Ukraine. They stay with us. This is the new format of the Crimean Tatar movement - our own battalion," he said.

According to him, the battalion will be a part of the National Guard since "the armed forces of Ukraine are oriented more towards military service, while the National Guard is more socially oriented." "I think this kind of format will be approved in the nearest future," he added.
"We are making a battalion of NATO type which will include 560 to 580 servicemen. What will be next is for the leadership of the National Guard to decide. I think, some corrections will be made," Isliamov noted.
