Militants committed 17 attacks on ATO troops today, - ATO HQ press center

The pro-Russian militants continue violating the terms of armistice in Donbas.

Censor.NET informs citing the situation report by the ATO press center as of 6 p.m. Jan. 22.

"The militants attacked the positions of the Ukrainian Armed Forces 17 times today.

"The greatest number of attacks were recorded at the Svitlodarsk salient in the vicinity of the temporarily occupied Horlivka. The invaders provided accurate fire at the strong points of the ATO forces near Zaitseve and Maiorsk with small arms, grenade launchers and high-caliber machine guns.

"Our positions in Pisky and Opytne villages near the Donetsk airport were fired at with small arms. The enemy provided accurate fire at our strong points near Marinka and Luhanske using different types of grenade launchers. The Ukrainian soldiers did not open fire in response," the press center reported.
