Marinka and Maiorsk checkpoints could be closed due to risk of a repetition of Volnovakha tragedy – Zhebrivskyi

If the terrorists do not cease shelling Marinka and Maiorsk checkpoints in the ATO zone, they might be closed.

Head of the Donetsk military-civilian administration Pavlo Zhebrivskyi wrote on Facebook, Censor.NET reports.

"The militants shelled Marinka and Maiorsk checkpoints from the terrorist-held territory two days ago. I have inspected the situation in the area personally today. There is a risk of repetition of the Volnovakha tragedy when a bus with civilians was shelled. If the terrorists do not cease shelling the checkpoints, they might be temporarily closed. Today, however, there is no need for that," he said.
