Flu claimed lives of 171 Ukrainians since epidemic season started, - health ministry

The following report was made public by the Flu and ARVI Center of the Ukrainian Center for Control and Monitoring of Diseases of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine and the Sanitary and Epidemiological Agency of Ukraine, Censor.NET informs.

The children aged up to 17 years amount to 62.9 percent of all patients. The highest influenza and ARVI morbidity rate has been recorded among the residents of Kyiv and the Kyiv region, with 11.9 and 14 percent of population having suffered through the illness respectively. The lowest morbidity rate has been recorded in the Zakarpattia region (5.0 percent)
