"Nobody blocks the trucks because there is criminal responsibility," – Pyvovarskyi on blockade of Russian trucks
Russian trucks can move freely on the territory of Ukraine.
Minister of Infrastructure Andrii Pyvovarskyi announced, Censor.NET reports citing Channel 112 Ukraine."There are people protesting peacefully near two checkpoints, in Stryi and Domanove (in the Lviv and Volyn regions). This is how it looks like: there are tents with Svoboda [party -ed.] symbols, where peaceful protesters are staying. Nobody blocks the trucks because criminal responsibility is stipulated for that," he said.
The activists protest peacefully as Ukraine is committed to ensure the transit of Russian trucks
"Apart from several trucks which cannot move because the drivers are either resting or have to restrain from movement because they will violate the traffic rules (for instance, they already had lunch or drank something and cannot continue to move), all other trucks have passed the territory of Ukraine without any restraints," the minister added.
