Ukraine has adopted 137 laws and regulations for liberalization of visa regime with EU, - vice prime minister
Vice Prime Minister, Minister of Regional Development, Construction and Housing Hennadii Zubko said that Ukraine had adopted 137 laws and regulatory acts for the liberalization of the visa regime with the European Union.
He said this on the air of Channel 5, Censor.NET reports citing Ukrainski Novyny.
"Ukraine has already travelled a very difficult path as it was a condition of the EU to liberalize visa regime. 137 laws and regulatory acts have been adopted by the parliament and the government in order to make it happen," he said.
According to the vice prime minister, regardless of the problems with the anti-terrorist operation and displaced persons, Ukraine has the situation under control and, in contrast to Syria, has not allowed a humanitarian crisis. "I think that Ukraine is now implementing the reforms that bring the country nearer to the European Union," he said.
However, Zubkov stressed that the government's credibility level was very low compared to 2014, when the Cabinet was just starting implementing reforms.
He said that the Ukrainians were expecting more sweeping reforms and the continuation of the already launched ones.
