People's Front ready to support Lutsenko's candidacy as prosecutor general
This was stated by People's Front faction chairman Maksym Burbak on the sidelines of the parliament, Censor.NET reports.
According to him, People's Front faction has discussed the bill that allows Lutsenko to become prosecutor general without legal education and decided not only to support putting this bill on the agenda but also vote for it.
Burbak also named the arguments given by Lutsenko in favor of his candidacy: "He [Lutsenko - ed.] replied in a rather curious way, saying that the deputy, the cop, and the prisoner bred a new quality inside of him, that is, he will not allow the cementing of the current situation in the prosecutor's office."
According to Burbak, Lutsenko also promised to quit PPB in case he was appointed prosecutor general.
