Savchenko's rendition provides for possibility of swap based on political talks, - Minister Petrenko

"I would not want to respond to the statement by the Russian justice minister, because legal procedure is one side and diplomatic negotiations is another," Petrenko said on Tuesday, answering journalists' questions about how he saw the information of Russia's Ministry of Justice about Savchenko's sole rendition to Ukraine rather than exchange.
According to him, the Ministries of Justice of both countries have legal mechanisms.
"In this context, we, on our part, have sent documents and now it's about Russia's decision. It does not exclude the possibility, it does not interfere with holding negotiations at the diplomatic level, which has been announced by the president and the Foreign Ministry," the minister told reporters.
"These are parallel processes which do not exclude each other," Petrenko summed up.
