Body of second rescuer perished on dump site near Lviv recovered, - National Police
The body of the second rescuer who died while extinguishing fire on a landfill on the outskirts of Lviv May 30 has been recovered out of the rubble.
Main Directorate of the National Police in the Lviv region told UNIAN correspondent, Censor.NET reports.According to the National Police, the body of an employee of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine has been removed from underneath the rubble.
The person's identity will be ascertained.
Earlier, a large-scale fire broke out on Hrybovytske dump site in the vicinity of Lviv on May 30. A waste pile slid and swamped three rescuers after the fire was eliminated and the firefighters were gathering the equipment and examining the site. The body of one of them has been recovered today, May 31. The search and rescue operation is underway.
