Poroshenko, Obama to meet at NATO Summit in Warsaw, Nuland says
President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko and U.S. President Barack Obama will meet during the NATO Summit in Warsaw in July.
U.S. Assistant Secretary of State Victoria Nuland said at a meeting with Verkhovna Rada Speaker Andrii Parubii, Censor.NET informs citing 112 Ukraine TV channel.She stressed that the efforts aimed at compliance with the IMF requirements taken by Ukraine over the past several months had also provided possibility for the U.S. to sign $1 billion-worth loan guarantees.
Nuland said she arrived in Kyiv with several colleagues from the White House and they were willing to feel the atmosphere before the meeting of the presidents in Warsaw, discuss the security-related steps and Minsk agreements implementation with Ukraine's authorities.
NATO Summit is sheduled to be held in Warsaw July 8-9.
