Russian police check Savchenko’s lawyer Feygin for extremist activity on Twitter
The lawyer told TASS agency, Censor.NET reports.
"An investigator visited me today and told that a certain Mr. Shchukin had filed a complaint and demanded to bring me to criminal responsibility. I know nothing about this person. I'm going to come to the police tomorrow and figure everything out," he said.
The lawyer clarified that the complainant's outrage was prompted by Mark Feygin's statements on Twitter regarding the release of Nadiia Savchenko and her swap for the Russian servicemen Alexander Aleksandrov and Yevgeny Yerofeev.
The Khamovniki police department is currently conducting the pre-prosecutorial check into the complaint.
