The National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine raided the office of MP Oleksandr Onyshchenko on March 16. The NABU stated that the searches were carried out under the pretrial investigation of criminal case initiated into abuse of office during sale of the natural gas jointly extracted with Ukrhazvydobuvannia SE.
On June 16, Andrii Parubii has instructed the Committee on Rules of Parliamentary Procedure and Support to Work of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine to promptly consider the motion regarding the stripping of the parliamentary immunity, arrest, and confinement of lawmaker Oleksandr Onyshchenko, a member of Volia Narodu parliamentary group.
