Poltorak informs Poroshenko about 16 successful launches of Ukrainian missiles
President's press secretary Sviatoslav Tseholko wrote on Facebook, Censor.NET reports.
"The minister of defense and the chief of the General Staff have just reported to the president on the successful conduct of today's missile tests. 16 Ukrainian missiles were launched and hit the targets alright. Today's tasks have been carried out in full. The exercises of Ukraine's Air Force will continue on Dec. 2," he wrote.
On Nov. 25, the Russian Defense Ministry handed a note of protest to Ukraine's attache after the Ukrainian Armed Forces declared their intention to conduct missile tests off Crimea's coast.
In turn, the National Security and Defense Council Secretary Oleksandr Turchynov said Ukraine had no plans to conduct the exercises in the Kerch Strait being the border between Ukraine and Russia.
