69,000 people signed contracts with Armed Forces of Ukraine, - Defense Ministry
As reported by Censor.NET citing Ukrainski Novyny, this was announced by MoD spokesperson Oksana Havryliuk at a briefing.
"In 2016, 69,000 people signed contracts with the Ukrainian Armed Forces. 7,500 of them are officers," she said.
Havryliuk said the Defense Ministry intends to do its best to keep the flow of contract soldiers at the same level in 2017.
