President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko has cut short his working visit to Germany because of the emergency situation in Avdiivka caused by the Russian militants’ attacks.
This was announced by spokesperson for the president Sviatoslav Tseholko, Censor.NET reports citing Interfax-Ukraine."The president has cut short his visit to Germany due to strikes on Avdiivka committed by the Russian militants, which caused emergency situation verging on humanitarian disaster," Tseholko wrote.
As reported, five Ukrainian soldiers were killed and 14 wounded in the anti-terrorist operation Jan. 29. The Armed Forces of Ukraine sustained most casualties in Avdiivka's industrial zone. A total of 35 enemy attacks, including eight strikes with heavy weapons were recorded in Mariupol direction over the past day.
