The ambassador recalled that the Minsk deal provides for holding free elections in the Donbas under Ukrainian law and the supervision of international organizations, in particular the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE).
He continued to say that even if Russian troops withdraw, the gangster regime in occupied territory will oppose any elections.
