US ready to strike North Korean nuclear sites, - The Times

The United States could “utterly destroy” the key North Korean targets using conventional weapons.

Donald Trump's closest military advisers have told U.K. that America has the firepower to neutralize North Korea's nuclear program - and may even launch a preemptive strike to do so, Censor.NET reports citing The Times.

In what will be seen as an attempt to pile pressure on China to intervene to prevent Kim Jong-un from conducting a new nuclear test, senior sources said the United States could "utterly destroy" the key targets using conventional weapons.

Tensions were raised again early today when the U.S. said North Korea had attempted to fire a ballistic missile, but that it had exploded seconds after launch. South Korea is investigating the launch near the port of Sinpo on the east coast.
