The Russian occupation forces continue inviting retaliation of the anti-terrorist operation (ATO) troops despite the cease-fire deal.
Censor.NET reports citing the latest update by the ATO headquarters press center on Facebook."The Armed Forces of Ukraine came under 18 attacks over the past 24-hour period. The militants shelled defenders of Krasnohorivka village in Prymorske direction with 82 mm mortars. Marines deployed in the vicinity of Vodiane were fired upon with weapons of infantry fighting vehicles, anti-tank grenade launchers, and large-caliber machine guns. The Ukrainian troops' positions near Pavlopil were shelled with automatic grenade launchers. The enemy employed IFV weapons against the defenders of Shyrokyne. The strong points near Lebedynske, Talakivka and Hnutove were fired upon with small arms.
"In Donetsk direction, the enemy employed grenade launchers of various systems and large-caliber machine guns against positions on the outskirts of Kamianka and Avdiivka. Grenade launchers and small arms were used against the defenders of Luhanske and Verkhniotoretske.
"In Luhansk direction, defenders of Krymske were fired upon with large-caliber machine guns.
"Ukrainian soldiers strictly observed truce and did not open fire in response despite all attempts of the Russian occupation troops to invite their retaliation," the situation report reads.
Earlier, the combined Russian and separatist forces committed 35 attacks on positions of Ukrainian servicemen April 18.
