Minsk negotiators agree to approve list of prisoners unwilling to return to separatists under swap program

The Tripartite Contact Group to resolve the conflict in the Donbas (Ukraine-OSCE-Russia) re-agreed the harmonization of the list of detainees who refuse to be taken to the temporarily occupied areas of the Donbas under prisoner swap program.

Spokesperson for the Ukrainian negotiator Darka Olifer wrote on Facebook, Censor.NET reports.

"On April 18, 2017, it was planned to verify those persons refusing to be taken to the part of the Donbas beyond control of the Ukrainian government. However, the stance of the "DPR"/"LPR" representatives rendered it impossible.

"An agreement to hold this verification as soon as possible was reached at today's meeting. The representatives of the OSCE, the Security Service, the office of the Ukrainian ombudsman, mothers of detainees will also take part in this process," Olifer wrote.
