One civilian killed, 19 injured in Donbas hostilities on May 1-7, - OSCE

Principal Deputy Chief Monitor of the OSCE Special Monitoring Mission (SMM) Alexander Hug delivered report on last week’s developments in the Donbas.

As reported by Censor.NET citing Ukrainski Novyny, the OSCE official told a briefing that one civilian was killed and 19 were wounded as a result of hostilities in the Donbas between May 1 and 7.

According to Hug, the SMM confirmed 20 civilian casualties including one person dead last week.

The observer also recalled that 191 civilians were wounded in the Donbas conflict since the beginning of 2016.

The OSCE SMM includes 653 observers as of May 12.
