Ukraine insists on final verification of list of prisoners for exchange until May 24, - Iryna Herashchenko

The Ukrainian side insists on final verification of list of hostages at a meeting in Minsk on May 24.

This was announced by the first Vice-Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada Iryna Herashchenko, Censor.NET reports citing Interfax-Ukraine.

Herashchenko reminded that the verification of the hostages has already been completed, and it is important that all parties confirm these intentions at the last meeting in Minsk.

She noted that in the current situation, the security and humanitarian aspect, as well as the free movement of the OSCE CMM in the Donbas, are the key issue.

According to her, most of today's negotiations between the German Federal Chancellor Angela Merkel and the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko will be devoted to the situation in the Donbas.
