Minimum pension to be increased to 1,452 hryvnia if pension reform passed, - Social Policy Minister Reva
Minister of Social Policy of Ukraine Andrii Reva says that if the pension reform is adopted, the minimum pension payment will be increased to 1,452 hryvnia ($55 monthly) from Oct. 1.
Censor.NET reports citing Interfax-Ukraine."There is this proposal, and we support it, to have a 15-percent increase of social payments per year, not 10 percent, so the people would receive not by 61 hryvnia more, but by 140... If this is adopted, the minimum pension payment will be increased to 1,452 hryvnia from Oct. 1," Reva said.
Reva reminded that the earlier the Verkhovna Rada adopts the bill on the pension reform, the faster the payments will be updated.
