NATO Parliamentary Assembly in 2020 to take place in Kyiv, - MP Friz

The Parliamentary Assembly of NATO will take place in Kyiv for the first time in 2020.

This was announced by head of the permanent delegation to NATO PA from Ukraine, MP Iryna Friz on Facebook, Censor.NET reports.

"The Permanent Committee of NATO PA has granted the motion filed by Ukraine on holding the spring NATO PA session in Kyiv. We will be able to do this in 2020.

"Congratulations! It's not just a show of support to Ukraine by NATO PA, but also a sign of our close cooperation. Today [there is] a clear understanding that Ukraine is a democratic state that defends the eastern flank of the Alliance of Freedom," Friz wrote.
