Foreign funds should be involved, - PM Hroisman on defined contribution pension system

The head of the government told Interfax-Ukraine in an interview that he is advocating the creation of the second level on the pension system (defined contribution pension system), but is worried for citizens' money, Censor.NET reports.

"Everybody remembers the loss of funds in Sberbank of USSR. I do not want that to repeat, so we need guarantees in order for people to know that if they do save up, they will receive the funds after they retire. I think, we need to invite international funds with great reputation and sustainability," Hroisman said.

He said the Cabinet together with members of the parliament who have good initiatives regarding the matter will develop a relevant law.
