Hennadii Vehera, a serviceman of the 34th separate motorized infantry battalion of the 57th separate mechanized infantry brigade was killed while accomplishing combat mission in the vicinity of Pisky village on Jan. 10.
As reported by Censor.NET citing own sources, a soldier of the 34th separate motorized infantry battalion of the 57th separate motorized infantry brigade Hennadii Vehera, born in 1980, was killed in explosion of a land mine triggered by his infantry fighting vehicle in the Donetsk region yesterday, Jan. 10.
The anti-terrorist operation (ATO) headquarters earlier reported three Ukrainian soldiers killed, three injured, and one traumatized in the Donbas on Jan. 10.
"Three Ukrainian soldiers were killed while fulfilling combat missions yesterday. Two of them were killed in a blast of an unidentified explosive device near Pisky and another one received fatal injuries in the enemy bombardment of a strongpoint on the outskirts of Novoluhanske. Three servicemen were injured near Novoluhanske and Verkhniotoretske villages," spokesperson for the Defense Ministry on ATO issues Oleksandr Motuzianyk told a briefing.
