Ukrainian air assault troops practiced raids in the conventional enemy’s rear, airdrop mission involving hardware and manpower in the course of Marunovyi Beret-2018 exercise.

"Incredibly powerful images of the Marunovyi Beret-2018 drills held by the Ukrainian commandoes. These guys demonstrate at the training grounds that they aren’t called Ukrainian Armed Forces’ elite for nothing," President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko wrote on social media and posted images of the exercise, Censor.NET reports.

According to the head of state, the soldiers practiced raids in the conventional enemy’s rear, airdrop mission involving hardware and manpower.

The president stressed that he was proud of Ukrainian air assault troops.
