New middle-sized reconnaissance ship deployed by Ukraine’s Naval Forces in Kyiv. PHOTOS

April 23, first middle-sized spy ship, built for the needs of the Naval Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine by order of the defense department lauched in Kyiv shipbuilding enterprise OAO Zavod Kuznitsa na Rybalskomu.

it is a continuation of the development of shipbuilding as part of the State Targeted Defense Program for the Development of Armaments and Military Equipment for the Period up to 2020 for the needs of the Ukrainian Navy to strengthen the maritime borders of our state.

According to naval tradition, a bottle of champagne was broken on the side of the ship when the ship was launched.

Minister of Defense Stepan Poltorak attended the launch.
