The Head of the Luhansk Regional State Administration Hennadii Moskal writes it on Facebook, Censor.NET reports.

"I have visited the 80th airmobile brigade in Lysychansk, and checkpoints 29 and 31 located on Bakhmutka highway.
Together with the Chairman of the Chernivtsi regional organization of the All-Ukrainian Union of motorists Ivan Melnychuk and the chairman of Storozhynets district administration (Chernivtsi region) Yaroslav Bartosh we have brought the servicemen, many of whom are their fellow compatriots, volunteer and humanitarian assistance - food, clothing, equipment, etc," he writes.

"Checkpoints 29 and 31 located on Bakhmutka highway are the extreme points of Ukraine-controlled territory in the Luhansk region. The separatists are located just behind checkpoint 31. The highway is constantly shelled. Although ceasefire was announced on Dec. 9, the terrorists keep violating it. There were 9 attacks reported on Friday, some of which took place on the highway," the governor states.

"Not only militants, but also regular Russian troops are distributed along the highway from the direction of the LPR-held town Kirovsk. Russian paratroopers are stationed in less than a kilometer from checkpoint 29," Moskal stressed.
