Russian conscripts and reservist are, by hook or by crook, lured to become contract soldiers for further participation in the war in the Donbas.

Blogger Irakliy Komakhidze wrote for InformNapalm, Censor.NET informs.

"We want to give you evidence of turning conscripts into contract soldiers on the example of the 7th Russian occupation military base (#09332, Gudauta, Abkhazia, Georgia)," the blogger wrote.

"The command, political officers and military psychologists are constantly exerting pressure on personnel, depicting Ukrainians as an enemy, talking about 'independent' Novorossia that has been attacked by the Ukrainian army. Contract soldiers are promised to be paid $380 per month," Komakhidze wrote.

"In fact, most contract soldiers terminated the contract after 'Ukrainian vacation' due to non-payment of wages," the blogger wrote.

Chief of Staff of the Western Military District, Major General Victor Miskovets (born in Kyiv) was actively involved in the enrollment process (his page on Odnoklassniki social network http://ok.ru/profile/121091922383)," the blogger reported.

This is evidenced by his revelation in an interview with Krasnaya Zvezda newspaper on July 22, 2014, in which the General notes "'polite' army needs 'polite' people ..."

"Chiefs of Staff similar to Miskovets enlist volunteers in each military district of the Russian Federation. This activity is coordinated by Chief of the Personnel Department of the Defense Ministry, Colonel-General Victor Goremykin, as well as, on a local level, Chief of Human Resources of the Southern Military District, Major-General Paniovchik; Head of the personnel of the Eastern Military District, Rear Admiral Costin (who replaced 1st Rank Captain Pavlovich), Chief of Staff of the Central Military District, Colonel Yarenko (who replaced Major-General Nesterov)," Komakhidze said.

The General Directorate for Personnel of the Armed Forces is also involved in recruitment of the 'volunteers' among the contract soldiers.

The main documents regulating the enrollment are orders of the commanders of the military districts.
