Today, December 24, the action-performance "AZOV Regiment: Christmas in captivity" took place on Sofia Square, which aims to support the captured heroes of AZOV.

"AZOV fighters have been in captivity of a cruel enemy for more than six months. It is hard to even imagine what they are forced to endure every day - half-starved, exhausted, without warm clothes and basic human conditions. Exchanges take place from time to time, but still almost a thousand Azov citizens remain hostages. On the eve of Christmas the relatives of the captured soldiers call on the whole world to remember the Heroes of Azov and pray for them. They also call on the governments of all world states and international organizations to redouble their efforts to rescue their relatives from the clutches of the aggressor. Every day we must remember the great price paid by the defenders of Azovstal. so that we can celebrate Christmas in free and relatively safe Ukrainian cities, together with our families", - note the organizers of the action.
