Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal discussed priority reconstruction projects with the US Ambassador to Ukraine Bridget Brink.
Shmyhal announced this on Telegram channel, Censor.NET informs.
"Priority reconstruction projects were discussed today with Ms. Bridget Brink, the US ambassador to Ukraine. We are establishing close coordination between our ministries and the United States Government for important and specific reconstruction projects that have already begun. First of all, we count on the support of partners in the restoration of energy, critical infrastructure, humanitarian demining and business support programs. He also emphasized that the Government's priority is to restore people's homes," the prime minister said.
According to him, the issues of cooperation with the IMF and the World Bank were touched upon. We have agreements with the Fund about the start of a new major program, and we are also grateful to the SB Group for its help in conducting a second assessment of damages and recovery needs, which will become the basis for this year's reconstruction.
