Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valeriy Zaluzhny met with the Commander of the United States Army in Europe General Christopher Kavoli.
According to Censor.NET, Zaluzhny wrote about this on Telegram.
He noted: "I held an extended meeting with the Supreme Allied Commander Europe, U.S. Allied Commander Europe, General Christopher Kavoli.
We discussed a wide range of issues that are important to us.
He spoke in detail about the operational situation along the entire frontline. He described possible scenarios, threats and prerequisites for our future actions. Our goal is to prepare in such a way that we can fulfil our tasks to the fullest extent possible.
They also discussed the importance of timely and sufficient supplies of ammunition and equipment. He emphasised the need to provide Ukraine with a wide range of weapons and air defence systems that would significantly help resolve the challenges in countering Russian aggression.
We also discussed the training of our defenders with General Kavoli. We agreed to continue to maintain a dialogue and work to strengthen Ukraine's defence capabilities.
