As a result of comprehensive measures, the SSU managed to identify four organizers of the illegal business. They have already been served with a notice of suspicion, and the activities of the "telephone service" have been terminated.
According to the investigation, the criminals used PROXY servers, the latest IP telephony technologies, and specialized software.
This allowed them to bypass the switching centers of domestic operators and made all calls that passed through the "service" invisible to Ukrainian law enforcement agencies.

In order to "confuse the traces", the organizers of the "business" used front men from socially vulnerable groups. However, the SSU exposed and stopped the illegal activity.
Based on the collected evidence, the four suspects were served a notice of suspicion under Part 3 Article 28 and Part 5 Article 361 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (unauthorized interference with information and communication systems, electronic communication networks). The offenders face up to 15 years in prison.
