In Chernihiv, the number of dead has increased to 6.

This is reported by Censor.NET with reference to the press center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

"A 6-year-old child died. On the spot, patrol officers tried to help her, but, unfortunately, it was not possible to save the child. The child's mother is in the hospital in a serious condition," the report says.

As reported, in the afternoon of August 19, the enemy shelled the center of Chernihiv. President Volodymyr Zelenskyy showed the consequences of the enemy attack.

Earlier, the Ministry of Internal Affairs informed that 5 people were killed and 37 injured, including 11 children, as a result of the attack on the city.
