"Yesterday, 32-year-old Petro Burban was killed in one of Lviv's warehouses as a result of enemy shelling. It was his first day at his new job," the mayor said.
Petro was born and raised in Lviv.
With the start of the full-scale invasion, he volunteered for the front and served for a year and a half. He recently returned to his family - his wife and three children.
"He had been looking for a job for 2 weeks, and yesterday was his first day at work. The first and the last," Sadovyi wrote.
As a reminder, on the morning of 19 September, the Russian army launched 18 Shahed attack drones in the direction of Lviv region. Three hits were recorded on industrial warehouses in Lviv. The body of a dead man was found under the rubble.
The attacked warehouses were used to store humanitarian aid from the charity mission. The Russian strike on the warehouse destroyed 300 tonnes of humanitarian aid.
