Ukrainian drone "Fury" presented by Spetstekhnoeksport state enterprise is ready to perform tasks for military and civil purposes.
This is reported by Censor.NET citing the Ukroboronprom press service.
"During the demonstration of the upgraded aircraft equipment, drones, control systems and communications that took place on July 17, 2015 on the territory of the Plant 410 CA (civil aviation - ed.), Spetstekhnoeksport SE subordinate to Ukroboronprom (defense industry state concern - ed.) presented a number of drones produced in Ukraine. The highest attention, as well as the greatest number of visitors were drawn to a home produced Fury drone with its spectacular technical and performance characteristics," the statement reads.
As reported, the domestic drone successfully passed a series of tests and is ready to perform a wide range of tasks for military and civil purposes. Spetstekhnoeksport SE and the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine signed a contract for supply of Furies for their pilot testing and further supply to the Ukrainian military.
As reported earlier, Interior Minister Arsen Avakov said yesterday that the combat units of the National Guard would be soon equipped with the Fury unmanned aerial reconnaissance systems.
