A 59-year-old civilian was killed in Kherson region as a result of an air strike on Beryslav district.
This was reported on Facebook by the Kherson Regional Prosecutor's Office, Censor.NET reports.
"Killed in another air strike in Kherson region - proceedings initiated
Under the procedural supervision of the Beryslav District Prosecutor's Office, a pre-trial investigation was initiated in the criminal proceedings on the fact of violation of the laws and customs of war combined with premeditated murder (Part 2 Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
According to the investigation, on 26 October 2023, at around 13:20, the Russian army carried out an air strike on the Beryslav district of the Kherson region. One of the bombs hit a nearby cafe. As a result, a 59-year-old local resident died.
Information about other victims is being clarified.
Civilian infrastructure, including a kindergarten, was damaged.
Prosecutors are taking all possible and appropriate measures to document war crimes committed by the armed forces of the Russian Federation," the statement said.
