Ambassador of Ukraine to the U.S. Valerii Chalyi presented the Letters of Credence to U.S. President Barack Obama Aug. 3, 2015 .

The statement reads: "Valerii Chalyi thanked Barack Obama for full-fledged support of Ukraine and wished the American people peace and prosperity during the official ceremony. Ukraine's Ambassador confirmed invitation to the U.S. President to visit Ukraine on behalf of the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko.

"In turn, Barack Obama noted that relations between the U.S. and Ukraine became stronger than ever and reassured that the United States remained committed to support the Ukrainian people.
