On the night of January 1, the occupiers attacked the Dnipropetrovsk region with kamikaze drones and shelled the Nikopol district with artillery.

This was announced by the head of the Dnipro Regional Military Administration Serhii Lysak, Censor.NET reports.

Ruscists attacked Dnipropetrovsk region with "shaheds" at night. Air defence forces destroyed 5 UAVs in Dniprovskyi, Synelnykivskyi, Novomoskovskyi and Kamianskyi districts

"In Dnipro, an enemy UAV hit one of the enterprises. It caught fire. Firefighters extinguished the fire within an hour.

1500 families in the Piatykhatky community of the Kamianske district were left without electricity. It was due to an occupier's drone that caught on a power line. Specialists promptly arrived at the scene. The houses were powered up," noted Lysak.

Occupants fired over a dozen shells at Nikopol, damaging a gymnasium and 13 private houses. Two garages, gas pipelines and power grids were damaged.
