Attack on Kyiv on January 2: 50 people were injured, rescuers extinguished fire at warehouses in Podil district. PHOTOS

As of the morning of 3 January, a fire in warehouses in the Podil district of Kyiv was extinguished, covering a total area of 5,000 sq m.

This was reported by Censor.NET with reference to the press center of the SES.

As noted, work continues on dismantling and shedding the structures. There are 40 rescuers and 8 units of equipment at the site.

Also remind, that as a result of the enemy missile attack, residential buildings, warehouses, private cars, and car dealerships in Solomianskyi, Sviatoshynskyi, Pecherskyi, Desnianskyi, Obolonskyi and Holosiivskyi districts of the capital were damaged.

A total of 50 people were injured in Kyiv. Two people died. Fifty-seven people were rescued and 134 people were taken outdoors.

A total of 280 rescuers and 64 units of fire and rescue equipment were engaged at the scene.
