Today, on January 3, the Russian military fired four missiles at residential areas in Avdiivka of the Donetsk region.

This was announced by the head of the Donetsk Regional Military Administration Vadym Filashkin, Censor.NET reports.

"Today, around 11 a.m., Russians fired four missiles at the city and hit a residential area.

A 51-year-old man died on the spot, a 50-year-old woman was taken to the hospital with injuries," the statement reads.

Filashkin also called on residents to evacuate: "Avdiivka suffers from enemy shelling every day, no one can guarantee safety."
