SSU: Five new "schemes for evaders" were eliminated: cost of "services" reached $10 thousand. PHOTOS
This was reported by the Security Service of Ukraine, Censor.NET reports.
As a result of complex measures, the organizers of the fraud were detained in different regions of Ukraine. The dealers offered conscripts to escape to the European Union on the basis of forged documents or bypassing checkpoints. The cost of such "services" was estimated at 3 to 10 thousand dollars. The amount depended on the urgency and method of escape.
Thanks to the SSU's prompt response, more than 50 potential recruits were prevented from being smuggled abroad.
Thus, in Kyiv, the SSU neutralized a criminal group, which included two officials of the capital's medical institutions and the head of a local public organization. The defendants fabricated medical reports for their clients that they had serious diagnoses. The fake documents were then submitted to the center of medical and social expertise to establish disability groups 2 or 3 for the fugitives. They planned to use the fake documents to illegally leave Ukraine to hide from mobilization.
In Chernivtsi, three more officials of local hospitals were exposed for selling fake medical certificates of mental illness. To hide the scheme as much as possible, its organizers falsely issued hospitalization and inpatient treatment certificates to their clients.
In Lviv, another healthcare worker was detained red-handed for selling fake medical and social examination reports on disability groups.
The head of a private construction company was exposed in the Cherkasy region. In exchange for money, she assisted in obtaining disability certificates for female potential conscripts.
A local barber who organized the transfer of evaders to the EU for money was detained in the Khmelnytskyi region.
The investigation is ongoing to establish all the circumstances of the crimes and bring the perpetrators to justice.
