Ruscists mine Ukraine’s border with ball-shaped fragmentation bombs similar to "balls" - SES. PHOTOS
Russia remotely mines Ukraine’s border areas with SHOAB-0.5 ballistic fragmentation bombs, which look like silver "balls". They can attract the attention of children.
This is reported by the State Emergency Service, Censor.NET reports.
"The enemy is remotely mining our land with them. They look like a small silver ball. Their appearance can attract the attention of children. So, warn your loved ones about the danger," the SES said.
The bombs have a large area of destruction
It is noted that Russia uses such bombs in the border areas of Ukraine. One RBK-500 cassette contains 565 SHOAB-0.5 ballistic bombs weighing 400 grams each. They have a large impact area: when they fly apart and fall to the ground, some of them do not detonate. Therefore, they can explode from any touch, although they do not have a seismic sensor.
Rescuers urge people to be very careful. Under no circumstances should you approach or touch explosive items.
"Immediately report such findings by calling 101. Only sappers can carry out ultra-hazardous work - the disposal of explosives -" the SES added.
