Over the past day, Russians dropped 7 unmanned aerial vehicles on Vovchansk and shelled the city with artillery and mortars four more times.
According to Censor.NET, this was reported by the head of the Kharkiv Regional Military District Administration, Oleh Synehubov.
Yesterday, on 18 April, from 03:10 p.m. to 06:40 p.m., the occupiers shelled the city of Vovchansk several times in a row. As a result of the shelling, a two-storey apartment building, the roof of a two-storey house, the Church of the Holy Myrrh-Bearing Wives of the Izium Diocese of the UOC, 8 private houses and outbuildings were burned. A 52-year-old man sustained shrapnel wounds.
Around 02:00 p.m. the enemy fired seven rocket attacks on the military command and control centres of Vovchansk. Seven private houses, one municipal building and a car were damaged.
In the afternoon, at 12:15, Russians shelled Vovchansk with mortars. Three civilian buildings were damaged.
The village of Sorokivka in Kharkiv district also came under hostile fire. The house of culture and a shop were partially damaged as a result of S-300 shelling. A 45-year-old civilian man was injured.
