"Luhansk People's Republic" militants assure they have no more prisoners. According to the released soldiers, another 20 Ukrainian prisoners are held captive in Donetsk.
The exchange took part in the Luhansk region, near Shchastia town at noon today, Oct. 29. The operation has been organized with the participation of the international contact group and the Red Cross, Hromadske reports cited by Censor.NET.The released Ukrainians include one civilian and eight military, one of whom defended the Donetsk airport. Four of the released prisoners were brought from Donetsk, five from Luhansk.
According to the "LPR" representatives, they have no more Ukrainians imprisoned. However, the released POWs said that about 20 people remain hostages in Donetsk. The militants were handed 11 representatives of their gangs.
