A unique brightly painted school, which looks more like a modern art space rather than an average Ukrainian school, opened its doors Sept. 1 in Putrivka village outside Kyiv.
A Censor.NET correspondent reports.
Despite being a public school, new teaching methods are going to be employed here. Renovated and stylish classrooms, equipped laboratories of physics, chemistry and biology are among the things to boast of.
"During classes, children are allowed to draw, walk, talk and ask questions," one of the teachers says.
The English language will be studied in the following proportion 70:10:10:10. 70 percent of time will be spent on speaking practice, while writing, reading and grammar will get 10 percent each.
